Public Toilets Coming To Tackle Open Defecation In Lagos, Says Wahab

The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, has said efforts are been put in place to launch at least 100 public toilets across some major areas in the state to tackle the menace of open defecation.
The Commisioner made this known on Friday during the ministerial press briefing to commemorate the first Year of the second term in office of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, held at Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
The Commissioner noted that the ministry is designing the project to make sure that it connected to water supply for people to be able to flush the toilet after use.
He promised that the project will be launched before the end of the year.
