RCCG King’s Court, Ikeja Holds Prayer Conference


The Redeemed Christian Church of God, The King’s Court Parish, Ikeja, Lagos Province 27 will hold its annual prayer conference from February 11 – 16, 2014 in the church auditorium located on No. 12, Oyetubo Street, off Ajao Road, off Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos.
This year’s conference holds with the theme: “Wait on the Lord.”
According to Pastor Ephraim Osunde, the resident Pastor who also doubles as the Assistant Pastor-in-Charge of Lagos Province 27, speakers that will minister at the Prayer Conference are: Dr. Steve Ogan, Rev. Mosy Madugba and Pastor Funso Odesola.
While stating that participants will be greatly blessed, Pastor Osunde disclosed that the Conference was not for members of the Parish alone but open to all members of the public who desire to know and establish an effective relationship with God.
The programme details as released by the Parish will entrench in the congregation, spirit lifting messages hinged on patience, perseverance and hope on the inner things of the spirit spanning several; yet related topics weaved around the conference’s theme.
Beginning in the evening of February 11, 2014, the congregation will be charged with a sermon titled: “They that Wait upon the Lord” as the conference opens at 6:00pm. This will be followed by a morning service sermon on Wednesday, February 12 with the topic, “Wait with the Right Heart/Mind” between 9:00am and 11:30am. In the evening that same day, the congregation will be taught the virtues of “Waiting for the Appointed Time” from 6:00pm-8:30pm.
Thursday, February 13, 2014 will feature two services. The morning leg featuring “Cast not Therefore Away Your Confidence” between 9:00am and 11:30am, while the evening leg will showcase “Watching and Waiting for the Master’s Return” from 6:00pm-8:30pm.
On Friday, February 14 (St. Valentine’s Day) worshippers will be first treated to a toast of spiritual exhortation in the morning with the topic: “Strength for those Who Wait”, before a massive vigil of praise, prayers and Biblical exhortation on the topic: “The Expectation of the Righteous Shall not be Cut Off” from 10:00pm to the wee hours of Saturday, February 15, 2014.
Worshippers return to the concluding sessions of the Prayer Conference on Saturday, February 16 to congregate on the topic: “Waiting Time, Worship Time,” before the grand finale of this year’s Prayer Conference on Sunday, February 16, 2014 with a sermon titled: “Soar on Wings Like the Eagle.”
