La Liga champions Real Madrid unveiled Kylian Mbappé, wearing the full kit of the club for the first time at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu on Tuesday.
Mbappé received an incredible reception from the 80,000 fans who were present at the unveiling of the new signing.
The player who spoke in perfect Spanish said, “Hello everyone, I’m going to try to speak in Spanish. Wow, it’s incredible to be here. I’ve dreamt about this for many years. I’m a very happy boy today… I’m very happy to be at the club of my dreams and the biggest club in the world.
“I see my mom in tears… It’s an incredible day for me. Let me say thanks to Florentino Pérez, who believed in me from the start. Many things happened, but I want to say thank you.
“I’ve always had this dream and I want to thank Madridistas, who have shown me so much love. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart, it means a lot to me to be here today.
“Now I have another dream, to achieve, to live up to the expectations and standards of the best club in the world. I will give everything for this club and this badge.”
“I see many children here today and I have just one piece of advice. Try as hard as you can to make your dream come true, today I am here but one day it could be one of you.”
“This is the biggest club in the world. I want to win, I want to be part of the history of this club. Hala Madrid!”.
