The letter, titled “Meeting Between the Governor of Rivers State and the Honourable Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly”, was addressed to the Speaker, Martin Amaewhule.
It stated that the meeting, scheduled for Monday, March 10, 2025, was prompted by the governor’s receipt of the Certified True Copy of the recent Supreme Court judgement.
According to the letter, the agenda includes discussions on providing a venue for the lawmakers aligned with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to conduct their legislative sessions, the presentation of the 2025 budget, and other pressing matters.
