Chief Executive Officer of Royal Hairs, Steve Maduka has reacted to reports in the social media that one of his prominent ambassadors, Mercy Eke, who won the Big Brother Naija 2019 edition used outfits created by a designer without acknowledging same.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Royal Hairs International, Steve Maduka, neither Mercy Eke, his model nor himself know where the clothes used for the photoshoot came from and that he has never met the affected boutique.
Steve made this known in a post he shared on the company’s Instagram page earlier today.
“I have never met this boutique owner before, I have never been to her place, I don’t even have her number, We had a chat some time ago and I requested for her number when I saw her bag at our shoot location, the post read.
“Mercy didn’t have to tag her, we had NO such agreement, last night I asked her how much her clothes , she quoted N270k , I paid her “, he said, adding that henceforth, Royalhairs will use @mnm_luxury for all subsequent Mercy’s shoot, Steve Maduka said.
“@royalhairs I saw a boutique owner sending messages to blogs that @official_mercyeke used her outfit for our photoshoot and didn’t tag her.
“We had No such agreement and Mercy didn’t know where the clothes came from, I didn’t know either Our Fashion stylist brought all the clothes and he is on contract.
