Singer Rose May Alaba Vows To Make Afrobeats Popular in German-Speaking Region
Austrian-Nigerian singer, Rose May Alaba, has stated that her mission is to make the West African music genre, afro beats popular in the German-speaking region.
Rose May, who is a sister to Real Madrid footballer, David Alaba, made this known in an interview with Ameyaw TV.
The ‘Ibadi’ diva said she is the Afro beats artist in Austria.
“I was born and raised in Austria. It’s a very small country. I’m the only Afrobeats artiste who brings that music [afrobeats] to this country.
So, I feel like it is my mission to make Afrobeats more known in the German-speaking region,” she said
Rose May said she is happy that Nigerians are supporting her, adding that she would continue to represent her African roots.
