The Deputy Editor of Saturday Newswatch Newspaper was shot dead by unknown gunmen while on his way home. Mr. Toyin Obadina, 50, while driving his Toyota Yaris car was attacked along Ijebu-Ode road on Friday night after closing from work.
Nigeria Union of Journalists, Nigerian Guild of Editors, Lagos State government and Newswatch newspapers in separate statements condemn the killing of Obadina also condole with the media family and urge Lagos State Commissioner of Police and his men to fish out the killers of Mr. Obadina.
Mr. Obadina was a perfect gentleman.
May his gentle soul rest in peace, Amen.
