Stefflon Don Shades Burna Boy in Cryptic Post, Declares ‘The Real Giant of Africa’

Stefflon Don‘s recent Instagram post, which posted an image of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the interim president of Burkina Faso, has sparked speculation that it may be a subtle dig at her ex-boyfriend, Burna Boy.

In the post, Stefflon Don shared an image of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the interim President of Burkina Faso, along with the caption: “The real Giant of Africa.” 

This phrase immediately caught attention, as Burna Boy is widely known by the title “African Giant,” a self-styled moniker he uses to describe himself.

The post has been interpreted by many as a veiled criticism aimed at Burna Boy, especially considering the tumultuous and highly public breakup between the two. 

Since their separation in 2021, both artists have occasionally taken indirect jabs at each other, with Burna Boy’s hit song “Last Last” believed to be a reference to the emotional fallout of their relationship.

Stefflon Don’s recent Instagram activity appears to add fuel to the ongoing tension between the two former lovers.

Although she didn’t directly mention Burna Boy, the timing and phrasing of her post have led to widespread speculation about unresolved issues between them, with fans on social media quick to notice the potential shade.
