Stephen Keshi Set To Sign New Eagle’s Contract Deal
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has announced the former coach of Nigeria Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi is set to sign a new contract deal as Super Eagle’s coach next week.
Keshi’s initial contract expired with the world cup in Brazil, but he has shown his readiness to lead the team once again.
According to the statement by NFF spokesperson, Emeka Iyama, ‘the executive committee has mandated the secretariat to reach out to Keshi and conclude the details of his contract’.
‘We expect that the signing would be next week so that he can resume work ahead of fast approaching 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series’ he added.
Keshi’s immediate task will be a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on September 7 between Nigeria and Rwanda.
