The Nigeria’s Super Eagles secured a spot at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, on Thursday evening.
Augustine Eguavoen’s men earn a place at the AFCON 2025 finals following Rwanda’s 1-0 home loss to the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
With the result, Rwanda, who occupy third position in Group D with five points from five matches can no longer catch up with Nigeria.
The Super Eagles occupy top spot in the group with 10 points from four matches.
