Supreme Court Invalidates PDP’s Ibadan Convention, Nullifies Turaki-Led Executive

The Supreme Court has voided the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faction’s National Convention that took place in Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 15 and 16, 2025, while deferring its ruling on a separate case involving the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The National Convention in Ibadan produced the Tanimu Turaki (SAN) led factional national executives of the party.

The apex court said it was conducted amid subsisting court orders restraining the party from proceeding with the gathering.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has moved judgment in the ADC case to 4:30pm today.
