Taxigo App Launches In Lagos

Goafrik has launched its latest taxi app, Taxigo. The platform, which is currently operational within Lagos, is not the usual ride-sharing platform or taxi-company that pushes drivers to work with low prices for 12+ hours a day or pick cars for the rider, rather it is a secret or invisible taxi-network that makes sure all taxi companies and private taxies utilizes the platform for their businesses. It also operates as a work-load sharing network for taxi companies.

Taxigo App was created by Eduard Dubrovski, 25 years old salsa-dance coach from Estonia, and two young Nigerian entrepreneurs Thomas Ajayi and Godswill Nkwusi.

By working closely with drivers and companies, Taxigo guarantees cars availability than any other competitor. For example, in Estonia, which is homeland for both Taxigo and Taxify, the Taxigo is about 50 per cent bigger in terms of active cars and total number of rides. In Nigeria, it may take a time but surely, it’s achievable.

Taxigo allows the rider to log in final destination and let the app calculate the amount for the trip. If the real price will be affected by unusual traffic jams, as the rider only pays the pre-calculated amount.

The platform makes sure every driver gets to choose prices and changes them based on demand. When offline, a rider can call the dispatch number and request for a ride. To request, visit www.taxigo.com or GooglePlay or AppStore to download the app.Taxigo.
