Tems Becomes Co-owner Of MLS Club, San Diego FC


Grammy award-winning artist Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has become a partner in the ownership group of Major League Soccer team San Diego FC.
The club made the announcement on Wednesday, revealing that Tems has joined the ownership group via her company, The Leading Vibe.
With this development, Tems has made history as the first African woman to participate in MLS ownership.
“We are delighted that Tems has joined San Diego FC as a club partner,” stated SDFC chairman Sir Mohamed Mansour in a press release.

In response to her recent inclusion in the ownership group of San Diego FC, the singer expressed her excitement by stating, “I am thrilled to join San Diego FC’s ownership group and to be part of a club that celebrates creativity, culture, and the power of community.
