American singer-songwriter and record producer, Robert Sylvester Kelly, popularly known as R. Kelly, is 47 year old today.
He was born on the 8th of January, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois, United States
.
The R&B king began his career after singing on the streets for a time; R. Kelly got his first big break in 1990, when he landed a recording contract with Jive Records.
He released Born into the 90’s with Public Announcement, his back-up group. The album quickly proved to be a hit, featuring two top R&B singles, “Honey Love” and “Slow Dance (Hey Mr. DJ).
Since then till today, Kellz, as widely called as dominates the R&B and Pop industry. Some refers him as the king of R&B.
He has releases many singles and albums that have shake the world. He just releases his latest album titled ‘Black Panties’.
