There Will Be Hitch-Free Elections In 2015 – Mimiko

Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, has assured Nigerians of hitch-free elections in the forthcoming general elections in the country.

He expressed his optimism that there will be peaceful elections, declaring that Nigeria is the most de-marketed country in the world even by her citizens who say all the worst things about her.

Mimiko made this known in his New Year message at the service held at the Agape Christian Assembly in Akure.

He also assured that Nigeria would overcome her numerous challenges with fervent prayers by the people, stressing that worshiping God in truth would also assist the nation greatly.

The governor thanked the people of the state for their support and prayers for his administration, noting that he would continue to add value to their lives through the provision of more dividend of democracy.

“Election will come and go and Nigeria will not go back to Egypt. We will deepen our prayers and continue to worship God in truth. I’m very optimistic that we will overcome our challenges,” Mimiko said, urging Nigerians to, however, stop destroying the country.

He added that God has always made a way for the country in times of difficulties; Mimiko said that God that saved Nigeria from the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) will not let the country down, insisting that those who pray for the peace of Nigeria will prosper.
