
No fewer tahn three people were killed early Friday morning in a crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in the Berger area of Lagos State.
Contrary to the earlier information made available to The Eagle Online, it was not a lone accident involving a 40-foot tanker bearing a container.
Rather, it was a crash of the tanker, which container to fall on some vehicles and into which some others ran into after it fell.
A few metres after that, a Lafarge cement mixer and a car also ran into themselves in the bid to avoid crashing into the fallen tanker.

Videos from the accident scene showed no fewer than three vehicles affected by the accident, which completely locked down the expressway for over an hour.
