Three United States military fighter jets were involved in a crash in Kuwait on Monday morning, according to the country’s Ministry of Defence.
The ministry disclosed the development in a brief statement, noting that the incident occurred within the Middle Eastern nation, though details surrounding the cause of the crash remain unclear as of the time of filing this report.
A spokesperson for the defence ministry, however, confirmed that all crew members aboard the affected aircraft were safe and accounted for.
Authorities have yet to provide further information on the circumstances leading to the incident, while investigations are expected to commence to determine the cause.
