
President Bola Tinubu has arrived at the Nigeria Immigration Service headquarters in Abuja to unveil its Technology Innovation Complex.
Tinubu, who arrived at about 12:08 pm, was received by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Kemi Nandap.
The Data Complex comprises the Command and Control Centre (regular migration), NIS Data Centre, ECOWAS Biometric Card Production Centre, Interior Data Centre and a 0.5KW solar power plant.
In her opening address, Nandap said the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Technology Innovation Complex will ascertain the risk level of persons entering the country, detect irregular migration patterns and monitor unmanned borders in hard-to-reach areas nationwide.

She said the facilities are “setting the benchmark to use technology to secure our borders and ensure the security of the nation.”
Present are the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and heads of agencies, among others.
