Tobi Amusan Selected as Nigeria’s Flag Bearer At The Olympics; Here’s How To Watch
The Nigerian Olympic Committee has announced that Tobi Amusan has been selected as Nigeria’s country flag bearer for the Paris Olympics opening ceremony.
Her appointment was announced alongside Badminton player Anuoluwapo Opeyori’s appointment as the General Team captain for Nigeria at the Olympics starting on Friday, July 26, 2024.
With the Olympics slated for Friday, Tobi Amusan would once again prove her global athlete status as she represents Nigeria. Sports fans can witness this happen live from the comfort of their homes by tuning in to the DStv SuperSport channels.
With 82 athletes competing in eleven games at the Olympics, Nigerian athletes have officially participated in every edition of the Summer Olympic games except for Montreal 1976 as part of the Congolese-led boycott.
Other athletes representing Nigeria at the Olympics include Michelle Alozie, Asisat Oshoala, Odunayo Adekuoroye, Promise Amukamara, Amy Okonkwo, and many more.
