Tonto Dikeh Feeds About 2000 Children In Lagos Ghetto

Nollywood actress-turned-politician Tonto Dikeh, recently showed an act of humanitarianism as she fed about 2,000 children in the ghetto city of Ajegunle, Lagos State.

The initiative was organized by The Tonto Dikeh Foundation, which aims to improve the lives of displaced and underprivileged women, girls, youths, and children in Africa, regardless of their political, religious, and cultural differences.

Speaking through her project manager, Mr Henry, at the event, Tonto Dikeh emphasized the importance of feeding the Children project, given the current socio-economic challenges in the country.

“The Feed 2,000 Children Project is one that we have planned to take across the country and Africa at large. Following what we are going through in Nigeria at the moment, we decided to put a smile on the face of every child as well as encourage parents to be hopeful. We will continue to reach out to the underprivileged children and women in our own little way,” the actress said.

According to the Tonto Dikeh, Abuja will be the next destination, followed by Delta, Ogun, and Kano state.

The King Tonto Feeds 2,000 Children Project kicked off in Rumuokuta, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, in June, this year, where over 2,057 children benefited from the initiative.

The Lagos edition, which was held in the Ajegunle area, had over 3,729 children in attendance.
