The Senate Minority Leader and a prominent figure within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Abba Moro, has publicly acknowledged that the party’s decision to nominate former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as its presidential candidate for the 2023 elections was a significant misstep.

The Benue State House of Assembly has suspended its former Speaker, Aondona Dajoh, for a period of three months shortly after his resignation.
