Tordue Salem: Senate Asks IGP To Find Missing Journalist


The Senate on Tuesday joined in the search for missing Journalist, Tordue Salam; calling on the Inspector-Generel of Police, Alkali Baba to unearth the mystery surrounding the his sudden disappearance.
The Senate action followed a motion by Senator, Orker Jev calling attention to the case of the missing Abuja based journalist.
Salem who works with Vanguard Newspapers and attached to the House of Representatives disappeared since October 13th.
He was last seen at about 8pm that fateful day at the Total Filling Station opposite Police Headquarters Abuja where a friend he took a ride in his car left him off.
Salem’s whereabouts have remained unknown since then with efforts by friends, family and colleagues proving abortive.
The Senate has now joined in the frantic search for Salem; prevailing on the Police to unravel his disappearance.
