An agreement has been reached between Manchester United and Atalanta for the transfer of Rasmus Hojlund.
Hojlund did not make it to the squad of the Serie A team that played against Bournemouth in a pre-season friendly last Saturday.
The Red Devils will be paying an initial fee of £64m for him, along with a possible additional £8m in add-ons.
The 20-year-old individual has already negotiated personal terms and will soon be signing a five-year agreement, with the possibility of an additional year.
This takes United’s total spending this summer to £179m.
Before Hojlund, Erik ten Hag brought in Mason Mount and Andre Onana.
Ten Hag made Hojlund his No.1 target after it became clear that Tottenham were refusing to budge on their £100m valuation of Harry Kane.
