The popular micro-blogging social site, Twitter has introduced a new feature that will allow users to view a recap of the more important tweets they may have missed when they were offline. The new feature called ‘While You Were Away’ essentially works like social networking giant Facebook’s news feed and shows users the tweets ‘it’ considers more relevant on top of their timeline as and when they log in.
Much like Facebook’s news feed, Twitter’s ‘while you were away’ feature collects and arranges tweets in a non-chronological fashion and works according to its own algorithm to decide which tweet could hold relevance in the current scenario.
