The European football governing body, EUFA, has rated English Premier League Giants, Manchester United as the most expensive squad ever assembled at the end of the 2023 financial year.
UEFA, which made this disclosure in its latest report, said United players cost a massive £1.21bn in transfer fees in total.
According to the report, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid also had squads that cost over €1bn at the end of the financial year in view.
City is in second place, with their squad costing €1.286bn (£1.1bn), Chelsea €1.084bn (£927m) and Madrid €1.031bn (£882m).
Liverpool €905m (£774m) and Arsenal €890m (£761m) are sixth and seventh, respectively.
The most expensive assembled squad in Europe according to UEFA include;
