
The UEFA has officially released the Matchday 1 fixtures for the 2025/26 Champions League. This announcement comes just 48 hours after the league phase draw, which included 36 clubs.
The Champions League Matchday 1 promises mouthwatering clashes, with European giants set to test their credentials right from the start.
In the matches, Juventus will host Borussia Dortmund in Turin. Meanwhile, Arsenal kicks off its campaign on the road against Spanish club Athletic Club in Bilbao. Real Madrid is set to welcome Marseille to the Santiago Bernabéu, promising an exciting European night in the Spanish capital.
The biggest headline fixtures are set for Munich and Liverpool. At the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich will face Chelsea in a heavyweight showdown, while Liverpool will host Atlético Madrid at Anfield.
All opening-round games are scheduled to take place between September 16 and 18, 2025.
