UNIPORT KILLINGS: Another Unspeakable Tragedy –D’banj

International act Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo fondly called as D’banj described the killings of four University of Port Harcourt undergraduates —Lloyd, Ugo, Tekena and Chidiaka in Aluu community, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, as “yet another unspeakable tragedy.”
The CEO DB Records D’banj, in a statement made available to P.M.NEWS earlier today , express his displeasure over the gruesome murder of the four young men, “brimming with great dreams, unfulfilled aspirations and a promising future”, on an allegation of stealing mobile phones and laptops.
D’banj who expresses his deep pains and he was quoted saying “To express the depth of my pain and shock at their murder is impossible. And understanding how events could have degenerated to this level is truthfully beyond me,” he added.
D’banj who describe the four young men as his brother, demand justice over the recent killings in Nigeria, including Mubi,Adamawa State massacre.
“We are not a nation of barbarians. We can follow due processes and procedures. We must fight together as one nation to ensure that justice as a whole is served, and process, is duly followed always,” D’banj said.
He expresses his deep condolences to the families of these young men killed both in Aluu and Mubi.
