Skills, Training and Entrepreneurship in (Social) Media Attend
This event will explore the opportunities social media affords young people to acquire skills, unleash their talent and get a job/freelance role or start a business – particularly in media and social media.
The event is being organised in partnership with Enterprise Creative and the Anzisha Prize Fund.
It will comprise the following strands:
1. Gbamm! Intern Search:
Start-up football social network Gbamm! is looking for staff in Nigeria. We are searching for enthusiastic, capable, curious and hard-working staff who are football fans and regular users of social media. If you want to work in the fast-paced, intense and high-pressure environment of a tech start-up, then this is the opportunity for you. We offer paid internships and full training to the right applicants.
We are currently looking for Content Editors / Moderators to drive content and moderate forums on Gbamm!
We are also look for Social Media Marketing Managers to drive Gbamm!’s social media presence

2. Enterprise Creative Internship Scheme
Nkiru Asika of Enterprise Creative will speak about grooming the next generation of creative practitioner and entrepreneurs through the Enterprise Creative Internship Scheme (ECIS) that is being launched this Summer, and its social media component.
She will introduce ECIS to interested partner companies and perspective candidates – as well as its advantages and how to get involved.

3. Anzisha Prize – an introduction
The Anzisha Prize is the premier award for African entrepreneurs aged 15-22 who have developed and implemented innovative business or community projects. The Anzashi Prize offers up to $85,000 in funding to qualifying projecys/entrepreneurs.
