
The United States Embassy in Lagos has reportedly denied founder of Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State and Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners’ Chapel International, Bishop David Oyedepo visa.
ThisDay Newspaper reported that no reason has so far been given on why the renowned preacher was denied the visa except the standard default explanation that the Bishop did not qualify for visa renewal in its assessment and urged him to try again.
However, the pastor was reportedly confused which made him to create scene whilst querying the grounds for his refusal.

Insider told the newspaper that the preacher told the embassy he had been traveling to the states as far back as 1980s and had not violated any rules or committed any crime to have warranted being denied a renewal of his visa.
The newspaper also report that Kris Asimonye, wife of popular comedian, Abovi Ugboma (Bovi) was also denied visa Thursday even though the comedian’s application was approved.
