United States President, Mr. Barack Obama has landed in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenyan capital, in his working visit to his homeland where he was received by his half sister Auma Obama, the Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta and other Kenyan government officials.
Mr. Obama is billed to co-host a conference on entrepreneurs on the African continent before he will be travelling to Ethiopia.
US Air Force One plane landed in Nairobi, Kenyan capital, around 8:00pm CAT.
Meanwhile, the Kenyan capital, Nairobi was locked down with many streets and shops closed down.
The US president will hold talks on trade and investment, and also security and counter-terrorism in Africa.
