
The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, Mele Kyari, on Monday announced that the 125,000 barrels per day Warri Refinery and Petrochemicals Company (WRPC) has commenced operation.
Kyari made this known during a tour at the facility on Monday, 30 December, 2024.
The latest development is coming a month after the rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt refinery situated in Rivers State.
While addressing the team during the tour of the facility which began on Monday, Kyari said, “This plant is running. Although it is not 100 percent complete, we are still in the process.
