The Publisher of the popular African Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine, Ovation, Mr. Dele Momodu is among the presidential candidate in 2011 under the platform of the National Conscience Party (NCP).
He said many Nigerians do not take him and his presidential campaign serious for his ambition to become the president in 2011. He said this while he was a guest speaker at a diamond jubilee symposium in honour of the founder of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare.
According to him, “One of the things I love about Pastor Tunde Bakare is that he did not restrict himself to activism. I was glad in 2011 when he was General Muhammadu Buhari’s running mate. I, on the other hand, wanted to be President. I was serious about my ambition but Nigerians were not serious about it. Some said I lacked experience. Yes, I lack experience in stealing.”
He also shared a screenshot of his feature in Punch newspaper and captioned, “WHY WE ARE IN THIS MESS: we always vote for primordial sentiments… Nigerians expect you to steal Nigeria’s money and use it to contest and oppress the poor of Nigeria…”
