Why I Wrote Open Letter To 2baba, Annie — Blackface

Singer and songwriter, Augustine Ahmedu, aka Blackface, has explained why he decided to write an open letter to the Idibias. Recall that 2Baba had recently confirmed his separation from his wife, Annie.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, Blackface said, “There are different ways of communicating these days. In times past, we could go and visit people in their homes.
At some point, we just sent emails or text messages, but now we can write on social media.
Sometimes, it shouldn’t be only the person that one is speaking to who should learn. At least, everyone reading it should have a little take-home.

“People have passed through what the couple is going through now, but this is their first time, so they should just take it easy with themselves.”
Blackface, who has also gone through a divorce, advised young people who might be scared of getting married.
He said, “I would just say that different strokes for different folks. This is life—we all can’t be going through the same stuff. The fact that some people’s marriages hit the rocks does not mean that there aren’t people who are happily married together. One just has to be ready for anything that comes. During courtship, couples should discuss. Don’t go into it because of other people’s reasons. Your own might be different. Take control of your life and pray for God to guide you.”
