Wizkid Throws Shade, Says ‘I’m Praying For Every Understanding Woman’ Ahead of Davido’s Wedding to Chioma

Afrobeats star Wizkid has sparked controversy with a cryptic social media post just days before his colleague Davido’s wedding to Chioma Rowland. 

Despite recent allegations of infidelity, Davido confirmed that the wedding will proceed as planned on June 25th in Lagos. 

On Sunday evening, the DMW boss shared pre-wedding photos with Chioma, adding to the buzz surrounding the upcoming nuptials.

His colleague, Wizkid, caused a frenzy after tweeting “Lol [lots of laughs]” moments after Davido released his pre-wedding photos on Sunday night.

The Starboy boss again on Monday morning shared what appeared to be a shade at his rival, Davido, according to some fans.

On his X handle formerly Twitter, Wizkid wrote: “Saying a prayer for every understanding woman on earth! Your king loves you.”

His post elicited mixed reactions, with many insinuating that he was shading Davido’s soon-to-be wife, Chioma, who has been very understanding with the singer despite cheating allegations.

Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, had confirmed in a recent statement that she and the singer rekindled their romance between 2020 to 2022, which is the same period the DMW boss was also courting his fiancée, Chioma.
