World’s Longest Bus Spotted in Germany

The eastern German city will soon be adding the world’s longest bus to its public transportation fleet. The Autotram Extra Grand bus is 98 feet long and can fit 256 passengers in its three accordion-linked cabins.
It was designed by Fraunhofer  and the Technical University of Dresden.
The bus reportedly boasts easy maneuverability and requires no special training for its drivers and aided by computer system to drivers while turning. That system’s main feature ensures that the rear section of the bus follows the front two sections at all times.
The bus’ greener features include hybrid gas and an electric engine that can go five miles while operating exclusively on battery power.
