‘Your Emotional Blackmail Won’t Work This Time’, Bobrisky Tells VeryDarkMan Amid EFCC, Prison Saga
Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has called out social media activist and critic, Martins Otse, best known as VeryDarkMan or VDM, for the first time since the critic released a controversial voice recording linked to him.
Recall that on Tuesday, VDM shared a voice recording, which he alleged was that of Bobrisky claiming to have bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million to drop the money laundering charge against him.
Also, in the recording Bobrisky purportedly boasted that he did not spend a single day in prison after being convicted and sentenced to six months, as his godfather had arranged for him to serve his sentence in a lodge instead.
However, on Wednesday morning, Bobrisky refuted the claims, insisting that the viral recording was fake and that he indeed served his time in prison.
Taking to his Instagram story on Friday, Bobrisky further addressed the issue, stating that he was not afraid of VDM.
He dismissed the critic’s tactics, declaring, “Every emotional blackmail wouldn’t work this time.”
The crossdresser wrote: “VeryDarkMan, all your emotional blackmail won’t work this time around.
“You think I’m weak? Just because I chose to be calm doesn’t mean I am scared of you.”
In another Instastory post, the crossdresser boldly stated that no one could chase away his helpers with manipulated lies.
Meanwhile, the EFCC has launched an investigation into the case, and also invited both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan to the commission’s Lagos Directorate to assist in uncovering the truth behind the allegations.
