
Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, a department of Nigeria Police Force, NPF, Lagos Command have arrested a 30-years-old man while robbing a tanker driver and his boy around Berger area of the state.
This was contained in a statement posted on the RRS page on Facebook Thursday.
According to the statement, the incident occurred on Wednesday night.
The statement reads in parts; “At 11: 45 p.m. yesterday, Wasiu Ajepe, 30 years old, wielding a machete, in company of two armed others (now at large) was arrested by RRS patrol team while robbing the driver and motor boy of a broken down PMS laden tanker after Ojota Bridge, Ketu inward Berger”.
“Ajepe, a resident of 21, Taiwo Street, off China Town, Ogudu has disclosed to be the leader of a clique operating around China Town, MKO Garden, Ojota Bridge and Motorways at night and dawn”.
“Efforts are on to arrest his two other gang members”.
