Negotiations are underway between Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain for a potential loan deal involving Kylian Mbappe that has caused quite a stir.
This week, Mbappe turned down a proposal from Al-Hilal that would have broken records.
A club from the Saudi Arabia Pro League was willing to provide a one-season contract to the French captain, valued at €700 million.
Al-Hilal made a world-record offer of £259 million to PSG for Mbappe, but he declined to meet with their officials in Paris.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool have now stepped in to offer Mbappe a one-year loan deal.
Mbappe may consider a loan move to Anfield, which could pave the way for his desired transfer to Real Madrid on a free transfer in June 2024.
